These deep purple berries create a surprisingly ruby red spread. We don’t hold back—we throw in whole currants by the crateful, as evidenced by the nearly whole berries and texture of this spread. Tart, vibrant, fresh: there’s a mouthful of words to describe a flavor from a recipe that is 98% full of organic black currants and white grape concentrate (ahem, and no refined sugar).
