FH'S Grant Grenache takes its name not only from Grant’s Farm, their ancestral home, but also President Ulysses S. Grant who was its original Farmsteader. Aromatics of dusty pomegranate and cherry carry into the mouth, alongside savory herbs and light tobacco accents. The tannins are lightly tactile and palate cleansing, while the acidity is glittering and mouthwatering, both carrying into a refreshing finish. This medium bodied Grenache would love a bit of smoke, so we suggest enjoying the Grant Grenache with fresh grilled vegetables served alongside risotto. It’s a perfect transition wine; with the freshness for enjoying while grilling outside in a late summer afternoon, and the structure to carry through your meal.
